The Game

"Don't Shoot" (ft. Rick Ross, Diddy, 2 Chainz, Wale, DJ Khaled and more)

Earlier this month, tragedy struck Ferguson, MO when a police officer shot and killed a young black teenager. The incident has started a global conversation about race, the police and other sociopolitical issues, and has also inspired a bunch of new music. The latest artist to perform a song about Ferguson is Compton rapper the Game.

He's not going it alone, however, as "Don't Shoot" is the Game's very own "We Are the World." He's recruited half of the rap world for the song, including Rick Ross, Diddy (who manages to squeeze in a Ciroc reference like a sly devil), 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh and TGT. Even if it's not the greatest song we've ever heard, it's one hell of a dense six-minute listen.

Check out "Don't Shoot" below. The song is available now on iTunes.
