Fucked Up's Damian Abraham Quashes Tweet Beef with Stars at Canadian Music Week, Discusses Getting a Hickey from Julian Casablancas

Toronto, ON has been abuzz all week thanks to Canadian Music Week. While up and comers and music vets alike have been rubbing shoulders at gigs and on city streets all week, most of them don't have camera crews rolling with them 24/7 to document the goings-on. Fortunately for Fucked Up singer Damian Abraham, the host of Much Music show the Wedge, he does get to film whatever he wants and lucky for us, we now get to reap the benefits of his CMW experience.

The spiciest of Abraham's encounters was with Memphis singer Torq Campbell. While the two had only just met in person, last spring saw some online arguing between Fucked Up and Campbell's other band, Stars, over the controversial Arizona immigration law. Stars planned to boycott the state in protest, while Fucked Up thought the other group's plan was seriously flawed. This week's face-to-face was extremely diplomatic, however, with both men agreeing that the bill is unjust, but that they have opposing views on how to voice their disapproval. After squashing their tweet beef, the two men hugged. You can watch the clip below.

Another of Abraham's vids finds him trolling the alleyway behind the Horseshoe Tavern, discussing some more man-on-man action. He recalls an evening about ten years ago where he was guarding the back door of the Horseshoe as a friend's band was unloading gear when out of the blue, Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas walked over from across the street and tried to make out with him. "Menthol makes me horny," Abraham says the Strokes singer told him before planting his lips on Abraham's neck. A polite "no" from the Fucked Up singer ended the affair. Strange, but apparently true.
