San Francisco, CA-based psychedelic garage-poppers the Fresh & Onlys have had quite an impressive start to their career, with a killer self-titled full-length and a smattering of singles coming out since 2008.
Apparently, the band's hard work has paid off, as they've now signed with Brooklyn powerhouse Woodsist for their next LP. Called Grey-Eyed Girls, the record will be out on September 15.
According to the press release, the album "sounds like a natural bridge between the raucous garage rock of the group's debut and the full-on studio record they plan on wrapping for In the Red later this year." Oh, yeah, that's right: they're also preparing yet another full-length, this one on In The Red, although so far details one that one have yet to be released.

The Fresh & Onlys have also announced a long autumn tour that will find the band playing several dates with Thee Oh Sees, and includes stops in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. This weekend, the group will play a trio of shows with Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks in California. And considering the Fresh & Onlys just got off tour as the backing band for psych soul hero Rodriguez, we're assuming their live chops are sounding pretty fine by this point.
