Saturday Night Live alumni Fred Armisen and Bill Hader have been in cahoots, working on the second season of their Documentary Now! IFC series. As previously reported, the upcoming season will feature an episode that focuses on fictional outfit Test Pattern in a spoof of Talking Heads' 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense.

Last night (September 13), the comedy duo gave viewers the first glimpse of the totally made-up iconic art-rock band, performing live on Late Night with Seth Meyers. They debuted a brand new song titled "Art + Student = Poor," which should get fans riled up for the impending full-length episode. The newly unveiled lineup even features a guest appearance from Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara.

Documentary Now! returns to the small screen tonight (September 14), though Test Pattern's episode is still a few weeks away from airing. Get a preview of what's on the way by watching their performance on Meyers' show in the player below.
