A perfect companion to their breakthrough debut album, this DVD shows the band on stage all over the world for their first disc, and then in the more comfortable surroundings of the Brixton in London and the Regency Grand in San Fran. Even better though is the intimate doc, "Tour de Franz," which covers days in the lives of these overwhelmed yet composed stars, as well as always entertaining karaoke videos. You couldn't have it better from a Franz Ferdinand DVD, but with a release that follows their second album, you can't help but admit this feels dated and would have been more enjoyable last summer or earlier.
