Amid reportedly working on an A24 feature filmFrank Ocean logged back on last night (July 10) with not one, but two new episodes of his Apple Music 1 show, Blonded Radio — one of which features new music from the elusive artist. Well, kind of.

Episodes 012 and 013 aired in honour of landmark album Channel Orange — released on July 10, 2012 — celebrating its 10th anniversary yesterday, marking the first new instalments of Blonded since last Christmas. The first is titled "blonded Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and features a 35-minute instrumental score produced by Ocean. (While it's not the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2016's Blonde, it's something?)

It soundtracks his interview with Dr. James Fadiman, who has published books and studies about psychedelics and has been referred to as "the Father of Microdosing." The next episode ("blonded ENERGY!") sees the musician in conversation with Master Mingtong Gu about the ancient Chinese healing practice of Qi Gong and self-realization.

In 2020, Ocean released the double-single "Dear April" and "Cayendo," which followed his 2019 one-offs "DHL" and "In My Room."
