Frank Ocean Says He's Nearly Done Recording His Next LP

Frank Ocean is set to appear at a few music festivals this year, and apparently may be taking some new tunes to the stage, having announced that he's currently putting the finishing touches on his next album.

Earlier today (April 10), Ocean posted a quick message on Tumblr regarding yesterday's announcement that he'll be appearing at the Pemberton Music Festival in BC this summer. The message then has him contemplating whether or not to skip heading out to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in order to complete work on his follow-up to 2012's breakthrough LP, Channel Orange.

It should be noted, however, that the announcement could just be in reference to a personal trip, as Ocean is not on the official lineup for the fest.

Ocean's message reads:

I'm opening up for Outkast this summer at Pemberton so I might skip on Coachella to stay in the groove and finish this bitch… I feel like they're finna wild out tho. Fuck it.. bring the helicopter out.

Details have yet to arrive behind the new album, but Ocean has been posting the occasional studio pic on his Tumblr.
