BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 11, 2013

Los Angeles beatmaker Flying Lotus is preparing to bring Exclaim!'s top electronic album of 2012 on tour across North America. Following last year's excellent Until the Quiet Comes, he will head out on the road this spring.

After a date at SXSW this week (March 12), FlyLo will hit the road in earnest for a little longer than a month from April to May. In addition to a number of U.S. shows, the outing includes three Canadian gigs: Montreal on May 13, Toronto on May 15 and Vancouver on May 23. For the trek, collaborator Thundercat will serve as the opener each night. See the schedule below.

This tour will utilize the producer's recently premiered Layer3 audiovisual setup, which utilizes layered projections and translucent screens. Scroll past the itinerary to watch a video previewing this uniquely futuristic stage format.
