FLAG Roll Out North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 22, 2016

No longer embroiled in a legal battle with the Greg Ginn-led version of Black Flag, punk crew FLAG are back to bust out the classics for another North American tour. Armed with anti-anthems like "Wasted" and "Nervous Breakdown," the quintet head out on the road later this spring.

The band's next run of dates starts up at the end of May at the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Vegas and quickly finds the act linking up for a series of shows with Ontario's the Dirty Nil. Select dates will also include Off With Their Heads or War on Women.

There's but one lone Canadian date on the trip, and it takes place at Toronto's Lee's Palace on June 23. Upping the Cancon quotient, the show also features a set from Vancouver hardcore trailblazers D.O.A.

You'll find the full itinerary down below.

As previously reported, FLAG comprises former Black Flag members Keith Morris (OFF!, Circle jerks), Bill Stevenson (Descendents, All), Dez Cadena (Misfits) and Chuck Dukowski. All guitarist Stephen Egerton also performs in the group.

Black Flag founder Greg Ginn had filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against FLAG in 2013, noting that their name was "likely to cause confusion, mistake or deception among consumers."

A judge had declined Ginn's preliminary injunction with the claim, and the bands settled the suit in the spring of 2014.
