Canada's music scene is heading to the Yukon again in 2025 for the 47th annual edition of the Dawson City Music Festival. Seven venues throughout the quaint historic city will host an outstanding lineup of Canadian acts from July 18 to 20. The festival grounds at Minto Park will be home to the event's main stage, as well as an artisan market, beer garden, and food vendors.

Single-day and weekend passes are available on DCMF's website. Check out Exclaim!'s five must-see acts from the impressive Canadian lineup below.

Charlotte Cornfield
The alt-folk artist from Toronto creates spellbinding worlds with the evocative simplicity of her lyrics and mellow instrumentals. Her gentle twanginess is of the likes of Adrianne Lenker — a perfect vibe for listening under Dawson City's midnight sun.

Devours
The experimental solo project from Vancouver-based musician Jeff Cancade shines with dreamy synths, deep bass, and the airy delivery of Cancade's confessional lyrics. Their latest album, Sports Car Era, was released this past March, offering an eclectic range of fine-tuned electronic bangers.

Jeremy Dutcher
The Tobique First Nation artist is a classically-trained tenor and uses his powerful chops to voice the Wolastoqey language on a national scale. It's a special experience to witness the moving compositions and beautiful vocals of this two-time winner of the Polaris Music Prize.

La Sécurité
The Montreal post-punk outfit carries themselves with a vibrancy and audaciousness reminiscent of acts like Le Tigre and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The cool nonchalance of their vocal delivery, alongside the repetition of their dark basslines and glitchy guitars, will put you into a euphoric dance trance.

Yoo Doo Right
The noisy post-rock band from Montreal crafts atmospheric, haunting soundscapes that ebb and flow in their intensity. Sometimes, the trio brings the riotous storm; sometimes, they embody the eerie calm after the storm. Don't miss out on their set at this year's festival.
