First Four Neil Young Albums Set for Reissue

BY Josiah HughesPublished Nov 10, 2009

Now that you've somewhat recovered from the release of Neil Young's bank account-draining Archives Vol. 1, Reprise has decided it's time to reissue his first four albums.

The near-perfect albums involved are his self-titled debut, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Harvest and After the Gold Rush. Originally released between 1969 and 1972, the albums have been remastered to be released on CD and vinyl. Better yet, a limited box set of all four LPs will be available, along with a limited run of 24-karat gold CDs.

The LP box set is limited to 3,000 copies, and the gold CDs are limited to 2,500, so you'll have to keep your eye on Because Sound Matters and Neil Young's website if you need those. Otherwise, the regular versions will be in stores on November 23.
