Following the death of Roxette's Marie Fredriksson earlier this week, fellow Swedish folk group First Aid Kit have paid tribute with a cover of 1986's "It Must Have Been Love."

The sister duo performed their Roxette cover live on Swedish radio station Musikhjälpen alongside pop singer Maja Francis.

"We wanted to perform this song as a tribute to Marie and her magic," First Aid Kid said in a statement. "Tack för allt Marie."

Fredriksson was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2002, later receiving intense treatment that removed the tumour, but left her blind in one eye and with limited hearing, speaking and mobility abilities. She died on December 10 after battling the disease for 17 years.

Earlier this year, First Aid Kit paid tribute to the late David Berman with a cover his song "Random Rules," as well as a new original song "Strange Beauty."
