Fiona Apple

"Anything We Want" / "Let Me Roll It" (Wings cover) (live on 'Fallon')

Fiona Apple's new LP The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do is out today (June 19), but the songstress stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to perform a couple of tunes and chat with the late-night host.

Speaking about the infamous 2000 Roseland gig, which saw Apple meltdown and storm off stage in front of a sold-out crowd, she seemed in hilarious spirits, joking with Fallon, who had been the opening act at that particular show.

You can also watch the singer-songwriter take the stage, backed by the Roots, for a performance of "Anything We Want" off the new album. They even go on to cover Wings' "Let Me Roll It" in honour of Paul McCartney's 70th birthday.

The Idler Wheel… is out today via Epic and you can see Apple's upcoming tour dates over here. Watch her performance of Fallon below.
