When Sting and Peter Gabriel announced their joint upcoming "Rock Paper Scissors" tour, it was revealed that the duo would be one of the headliners at this year's Festival d'été de Quebec. Now, another big act has been added to the roster for the 2016 edition of the event.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will also perform at the festival this summer, marking the band's first appearance in Quebec City in 10 years. The current lineup consists of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer, and they'll take the Bell Stage at the Plains of Abraham on July 16.

The festival is scheduled to take place from July 7 to 17 across 10 stages around the city. The entire lineup is still on its way, but you can find full festival details as they become available over at the official Festival d'été website.
