If you're still reeling from Afrobeat star Femi Kuti's tour cancellation back in 2009, your day is about to get much better. The Nigerian musician has announced he will be coming to North America this spring.
Along with his group, the Positive Force, Kuti will kick off a 17-stop tour April 19 at Toronto's Opera House. Montreal Afrobeat fans will likewise be treated to a performance from the outfit the next day (April 20). Sorry, West Coasters, the closest you will be able to catch Kuti is at his final gig of the trip, May 14 in Portland, OR. You can check out all of the dates below.
