Father John Misty is coming back into our lives with a new release. This time, it's a covers record called Anthem +3, which finds him taking on the songs of Leonard Cohen, Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Link Wray,

The EP arrives Friday (July 3) as part of Bandcamp's "No Revenue Share Day." On July 14, it will then be released through other streaming services via Sub Pop.

Anthem +3 was recorded a few weeks ago with Jonathan Wilson at Wilson's Fivestar Studios in Topanga, CA. It finds FJM taking on Cohen's "Anthem" and "One of Us Cannot Be Wrong," as well as "Fallin' Rain" by Link Wray and "Trouble" by Yusuf/Cat Stevens.

Proceeds from Anthem +3 will benefit both CARE Action and Ground Game LA.

The new EP comes in the wake of FJM's Off-Key in Hamburg, which also served as a Benefit record released through Bandcamp.

Anthem +3:

1. Anthem (Leonard Cohen)
2. Fallin' Rain (Link Wray)
3. Trouble (Yusuf / Cat Stevens)
4. One of Us Cannot Be Wrong (Leonard Cohen)
