Slayer rolled through Toronto earlier this week on their final North American tour, with Lamb of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament also in tow. As our review notes, the Tuesday (May 29) night show wasn't one to be missed, and one fan amplified that and then some by attempting to swim back to the Budweiser Stage after being kicked out.

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian took to Instagram to document the fan, who was spotted taking a dip in the murky Lake Ontario waters that surround the venue. As illustrated by the map below, Budweiser Stage is something of an island, with concertgoers being able to access the venue with a bridge.

Ian's photos show that after the man was pulled from the water with a life-preserver, he was given medical assistance while speaking to law enforcement.

Slayer's Gary Holt revealed in the comments section that he had tried to persuade venue staff to let the man back into the show to no avail.  It remains unclear why the concertgoer was ejected from the venue.
