Spooky songwriter Ethel Cain collapsed on stage this weekend, bringing her performance at Australia's Sydney Opera House on Saturday (June 3) to an abrupt close.
The artist subsequently posted on her Instagram Story, explaining that "all this touring and travelling has finally caught up with me." She said she was feeling better and has already performed another show at the same venue on Sunday (June 4). She wrote, "am feeling better today though and am excited for the show tonight!! I promise I will make it up to those of you from last night whenever I can."
Cain was on just her third song when she collapsed. The full set she performed on Sunday was only six songs long, since it was part of the Vivid LIVE festival.
Cain has a day off today. She's due to play tomorrow (June 6) in Brisbane.
