Eminem Reveals New Single in 'Call of Duty' Trailer, Eyes Fall Release for New Album

Eminem hasn't quite revealed the details behind his as-yet unnamed next studio LP, but Slim Shady has, however, let loose some new material in a trailer for videogame Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The preview for the first-person shooter comes armed with a track called "Survival." As you can see down below, the clip has a customized soldier blowing shit up and bringing down enemies in a spray of gunfire, while Eminem delivers life-reflecting lines atop a chunky, guitar-riffing beat ("Wasn't ready to be a millionaire, I was ill-prepared / I was prepared to be ill though, the skill was there").

Though not much else has been revealed behind Eminem's LP, a press conference for the videogame had Activision executives noting that this is the first preview of the record, and that it's due to drop in the fall. Call of Duty: Ghosts, meanwhile, is set to be delivered November 5.

Additionally, a video message from Eminem explained how his song fits with the motif of the military-minded game.

"The song's about fighting back and it seems like it fits Ghosts perfectly," he said. "I'm gonna be a big part of the game. My new song's in it, got a video dropping for it soon too."
