Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly's Diss Tracks Were Produced By the Same Guy
The producer (real name Ronald Spence Jr.) is credited on both of the songs that have been fuelling the ongoing war of words between the two rappers.
Ronny J produced and co-wrote Em's Kamikaze track "Not Alike," on which the rapper berated MGK for making comments about his daughter Hailie — something he famously punished Ja Rule for back in the day, as well.
MGK responded with "Rap Devil," attacking Eminem's facial hair, sweatsuits and "corny hats," and lamenting Em for banning MGK's music from his Shade 45 radio station.
Eminem has since responded with "Kill Shot," which Kelly has rebranded as a "#legshot" — implying that Em's aim missed.
Despite the seemingly explosive rap feud, the authenticity of the animosity between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly has now been called into question given that they shared a producer on their diss tracks.

Emiem/MGK beef is a scam to promote their albums. (Kamikaze and Binge). Ronny J and Ronald Spence Jr. are the same person. He co-wrote and produced "Rap Devil" for MGK and did production on "Not Alike" (Eminem's diss to MGK on Kamikaze) and "The Ringer" for Eminem. pic.twitter.com/Fum4RWQ0GW— Ryan Fairbanks (@RFairbanks9) September 17, 2018
So it turns out Ronny J actually wrote the majority of Machine Gun Kelly's Rap Devil 😂😂😂 who's got the better diss track now?!— ♥ April ♥ (@xosweetheartxo_) September 16, 2018
I just realized that Ronny J produced Not Alike, the track Eminem dissed MGK on & he also produced MGK's response, #RapDevil. Lmao, niggas don't care bout sides but their cheques.— Earl Jxn (@EarlJonDoe) September 17, 2018
And don't get too worked up on this subject. This is a publicity stunt to sell records. Because Ronny J help produce both artists songs. The difference is that he helped MGK write and produce It including Lyrically. He only help Em produce. But it's a stunt. pic.twitter.com/tdiOjsptXw— TruWerdz (@TruWerdz) September 18, 2018
.@RONNYJLISTENUP out here producing both MGK and Eminem's diss beats. What a genius.— mr. antonioni (@tonebonebeats) September 16, 2018
Others are convinced the stunt is just the lead-up to a collaboration between the pair, though only time will tell.
In other recent Ronny J news, he has a co-producer credit on Kanye West and Lil Pump's recent collaboration "I Love It."
