Matt Berninger of the National and Brent Knopf of Ramona Falls and Menomena are finally set to unveil their debut as EL VY when Return to the Moon lands tomorrow (October 30) via 4AD. Before the whole package arrives, though, the duo have shared another teaser in the form of a lyric video for "Silent Ivy Hotel."
It follows clips for "Paul Is Alive" and "Need a Friend," and like those before it, was directed by Berninger's brother Tom. Appropriately enough, the latest video takes on a Halloween theme, delivering shots of spooky moonlit silhouettes, elaborate costumes, skulls, snakes, cobwebs and an appearance from the most terrifying hairstyle of them all — the manbun.
