As you may know by now, Eels will release Wonderful, Glorious on February 5 through Vagrant, but leader Mark Everett also recently delivered a song for the flexible folks at Cirque du Soleil. The track, "Calling for Your Love" figures in the 3D flick Worlds Away, and you can stream it down below.
The tune finds Everett's vocals wrapping themselves around acoustic guitar strums and some mild symphonic touches, and it presents a gentler Eels than we heard on recently revealed Wonderful, Glorious track "New Alphabet."
As previously reported, Eels will head out on the road this winter, with the trek hitting up both Toronto and Montreal. You can see the dates here.
