Eat Skull Return with 'III'

Eat Skull signed a deal with Woodsist back in early 2010, but it's taken the Portland garage pop band almost three years to announce their first full-length for their new label. Now, finally, they've confirmed III, which will be out on February 19.

According to the press release, the collection's influences include Primal Scream, Guided by Voices and Iron Maiden. It reportedly took about five years to complete, and a press release explains, "III is a more psychedelic and perfectly circular outing then their previous classics of paranoid ecstasy Wild and Inside and Sick to Death."

These songs were reportedly created "on a fever train between states, cities, community colleges and jails." We don't know how much of that is true, but it sounds as if these dudes have had a lot going on in the last few years.

This full-length, whose album art is above, follows the 2010 single "Jerusalem Mall."
