Back in October, Toronto-based musician Eamon McGrath played a heated set at the first ever Bloor Ossington Folk Festival.
As crowds filtered in to the Theatre of Human Health for a Saturday night bill that included Metz and the Cancer Bats, McGrath warmed them up with a hard-rocking set. Backed by a band, the performance took on more of a punk rock aesthetic than his sometimes folk-tinged sound.
You can check out McGrath's energetic rendition of "Rabid Dog" above. The track is slated to appear on his upcoming album Young Canadians, due out in March 2012.
Audio recorded and provided by Joe Strutt from Mechanical Forest Sound.
