Eagles of Death Metal's Jesse Hughes Readies Solo Album, Attempts to Enlist Dr. Dre

Now that the touring cycle for their third album Heart On has died down, Eagles of Death Metal front-man Jesse Hughes is reportedly working on a solo record.

In an interview with BBC 6Music [via NME], Hughes revealed that he'd be using his excellent birth name to release a new album. The record, called Boots Electric Fabulous Weapon, is still in the planning stages, however.

That means, of course, that Hughes can dream on about his plans, and he does when he says, "I'm trying to work with Dr. Dre and my dream job of all time would be to work with [Outkast's] Andre 3000.

Of course, with that classic Hughes sense of humour, he adds, "I'll probably end up working with someone at Kmart."

Stay tuned for more details regarding Boots Electric Fabulous Weapon.
