Yesterday (August 12), Canadian Olympic medalist Penny Oleksiak's plea for Drake tickets went viral. Offers of tickets have since been pouring in from various outlets, with Toronto mayor John Tory even claiming that he would put in a word with Drizzy if "necessary." Now, with a seat at an upcoming show sure to be secured, the 16-year-old swimmer has now received a shout-out from the 6 God himself.
Drake took to Instagram this morning (August 13) to let the athlete know that he's proud of her four medals at the Olympic games so far and "can't wait to see you when you are back from Rio at a show!"
Superfan Oleksiak caught the nod and even got a follow from the rapper, then took to Twitter to share her excitement.
Now officially blessed by the 6 God, Oleksiak will take to the pool this evening for a shot at a fifth medal in the women's 100-metre medley relay.
