Unprecedented levels of rain as a result of Hurricane Harvey have left Houston flooded and in a state of crisis over the last few days, and a number of celebrities have spoken up to lend their support.
Despite serving as Toronto's de facto mascot, Drake has always acknowledged an allegiance to Houston, expanding his entertainment business empire to the Texas city last year. Now, the rapper has shared a message of sympathy to the people of Houston and provided a list of resources folks in the area can contact for help.
He's not the only high-profile Houston backer showing his support, though. His "Mine" collaborator and Houston-born heroine Beyoncé has also acknowledged the devastation in her home state. She shared a photo of her waving the Texan flag with the message: "Texas, you are in my prayers."
