Montreal's multidisciplinary non-profit Exposé Noir has just announced a new, four-day electronic and experimental music festival that will be taking place this month. The festival will be running from May 16 to 19 across four stages at Belvédère du Centre des Sciences de Montréal, the industrial hub-turned-cultural beacon perched over the St. Lawrence River.
This event marks the first-ever four-day event hosted by Exposé Noir, and the 15th event under the Exposé Noir banner since its debut in 2017. Boasting a curated lineup of 30 artists from 14 countries and six different continents, Exposé Noir is set to redefine Montreal's standing on the global electronic music map.
Local acts hitting the festival stage include Softcoresoft, Frankie Teardrop, Lis Dalton, Regularfantasy and more. International talent performing across the four days will include Avalon Emerson, DJ Nobu, Wata Igarashi, Helena Hauff, Buttechno, Mama Snake, Marie Montexier, and Powder. Djrum, Pavel Milyakov (a.k.a. Buttechno), Polygonia, GiGi FM, and Yazzus will also be making their Montreal debuts. Women and non-binary artists make up 73 percent of the lineup.
Tickets, as well as the full schedule, are available now on the festival's website.
