Following recently revealed news that A$AP Rocky, Chance the Rapper and Ellie Goulding were set to contribute new tunes to the soundtrack for sci-fi flick Divergent, a full tracklisting reveal now confirms a collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and Aussie psych crew Tame Impala, as well as tracks from M83, Snow Patrol and more.
A pre-order for the set, which lands March 11 through Interscope, has now gone up for sale and given us the details as to what to expect.
Tame Impala and Kendrick Lamar have teamed up here for a song called "Backwards," while the previously only hinted-at collaboration between A$AP Rocky and French DJ Gesaffelstein has now been given the titled of "In Distress." Other hip-hop/pop mergers include Pia Mia's "Fight for You" with Chance the Rapper, a song we had previously learned was produced by Clams Casino.
As previously reported, Ellie Goulding has offered up a new track called "Beating Heart," as well as her Halcyon track "Dead in the Water." The singer is also attached to the film as the singing voice of actor Shailene Woodley's character, Trist, and has contributed vocals to Junkie XL's score, which will reportedly be issued at a later date and found Hans Zimmer serving as executive producer.
Elsewhere on the set dubstep figure Skrillex serves up "STRANGER," while other contributors include M83, Snow Patrol UK duo Big Deal and more. A Target exclusive edition adds another Goulding number ("My Blood"), as well as tracks from Woodkid and BANKS.
