Shoemakers Converse are once again blending genres for a collaborative compilation and have asked mathcore wizards Dillinger Escape Plan to provide the sonic template for rapper Jarren Benton. The result is a track called "Rage," which is available to download now.
Crafted for the upcoming CONS EP Vol. 2, the track finds the New Jersey wrecking crew supplying a series of off-kilter noise chords and beats for the Georgia MC. He pays the band back with psycho bars that have him labeling himself a "beautiful disaster" and threatening opposing rappers. His personal torment is later tackled in a half-sung hook about overcoming pain.
