First up, Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace star in sci-fi prison romp Lockout, while the Farrelly brothers deliver their slapstick-filled Stooges tribute The Three Stooges. Plus, a weekend getaway turns bloody in Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon's Exclaim!-approved horror The Cabin in the Woods (pictured).

Also out this week, Rachel Weiz plays a woman embroiled in a self-destructive love affair in Terence Davies's latest British period piece Deep Blue Sea, Canadian eccentric Guy Maddin embraces '30s gangster melodrama with Keyhole, and the hunt is on for the last Tasmanian tiger in Daniel Nettheim's feature-length debut The Hunter, based on the best-selling novel by Julia Leigh.

Lastly, Bruce McDonald returns with Hard Core Logo 2, the sequel to to his beloved '96 punk rock mockumentary, Hard Core Logo, and we follow two teenagers working in the unregulated Japanese modelling industry in Girl Model.

Finally, Werner Herzog explores fur trapping in Siberia with Happy People: A Year in the Taiga, condensed from Russian director Dmitry Vasyukov's four-hour epic.
