After another week of musical treasure hunting, here at Exclaim! we're ready to give you a new batch of Click Hear tracks.
Starting things off is Toronto indie folk favourites Ohbijou, with their song "An Ode to an End." The tune is only one of many from the upcoming charity compilation Friends in Bellwoods II, which also includes contributions from the likes of Final Fantasy, Gentleman Reg, the Rural Alberta Advantage and so many more.
We also have the electro pop nugget "All Yr Songs" by Diamond Rings, the new alias of D'Urbervilles front-man John O'Regan, and for a more punk feel, there is Oregon's Broadway Calls, with their "Election Night" now exclusively streaming at Exclaim.ca.
Antibalas & Doctor L also have generational influences on "Family Affair," an Afrobeat cover of the Sly and the Family Stone original. And finally, paying due respect to the late Slum Village MC Baatin, who passed away on August 1, we stream "Actin' Normal," which is a video of the troupe heading to a rooftop party where Baatin's crooning-styled rhymes are centre stage.
