Die Inside While Listening to This Anti-Mask Cover of Radiohead's "Creep" Performed in Calgary

It's so fucking special

While Canada's vaccination push has thankfully driven COVID-19 rates way down in the past couple of months, there are still some protestors fixated on making anti-mask demonstrations. This has now yielded the ultimate piece of cringe content: an anti-mask parody of Radiohead's "Creep" performed at a rally in Calgary, where masks aren't even mandatory anymore.

The ghastly version was captured by local journalist Jeremy Appel, who filmed a man singing lines like "You're a sheep / You've gone weirdo." It really is so fucking special.

Appel points out that the man appears to be Larry Heather, a right-wing fringe candidate who bills himself as a "Christian choice" for mayor. He's certainly not likely to win any votes at the ballot box with lacklustre lyrics like "You're so cultish / Yet you think that you're special."
