Flying Lotus has come under fire for seemingly defending the Gaslamp Killer during his Los Angeles show on Saturday night (October 14), in the wake of recent rape allegations.

A number of fans who attended the gig reported via Twitter that Flying Lotus was alluding to the claims against his Brainfeeder colleague when he declared, "The internet is a fucking liar" towards the end of the set.

"Ain't nobody judge and jury but the fuckin' law, okay?" he continued, before closing by saying, "Let truth and justice have its day."

Flying Lotus then ended the set with a Gaslamp Killer song and walked off stage. Watch video footage of the onstage speech below.

FlyLo fan Mike Prysner attended the show and shared the following account of it: Other fans who were at the show have shared similar accounts of FlyLo's apparent defense.

As reported last week, Twitter user @chelseaelaynne alleged that the Gaslamp Killer (real name William Benjamin Bensussen) drugged and raped her and her friend RaeAn at the Standard Hotel in L.A. in 2013.

Bensussen has denied the claims, but been dropped from an upcoming appearance at New Zealand festival Northern Bass.

Brainfeeder also issued a statement in the wake of the allegations, claiming they "did not have any knowledge of the alleged incidents, and condemn any such actions across the board." They also noted that the label hasn't released any Gaslamp Killer music in over five years and he is not currently signed to Brainfeeder.
