Deviate

Belgium's Deviate play pretty average metal-tinged hardcore. It's heavy enough, the production sounds good and the lyrics aren't terrible. They can all play their instruments adequately and the packaging is fine. It's all so average that it is mind-blowing. Just being average and putting out another album that sounds exactly like a dozen others is pretty much a waste of time, except for those who are nuts about the genre in question and eat it all up.
