Dennis Lyxzén's AC4 Return with 'Burn the World,' Premiere New Track

Now that Swedish punk icon Dennis Lyxzén has wrapped up the Refused reunion, the vocalist is back to focusing on his fast and furious old-school hardcore project AC4. The group's next set, Burn the World, drops March 18 through Lyxzén's Ny Våg Records, with North American distribution being offered up from Deathwish Inc.

A press release explains that the troupe's sophomore follow-up to 2009's self-titled debut features "16 songs of social, political, and personal unrest transformed into primitive hardcore punk anthems." AC4's hardcore attack is shaped by legends of yore like the Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, G.B.H., as well as Motörhead. You can check out the amalgam of influences in the stream of album track "Extraordinary Rendition" down below.

Next month, AC4 undergoes a quick tour of Europe to support the LP. You can peep those dates over here, and keep your fingers crossed in hopes that an overseas trip will be announced sometime soon.
