Hanukkah starts today and so too does Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin's The Hanukkah Sessions. For the pair's first instalment in the series, the Foo Fighters duo have covered Beastie Boys' classic "Sabotage."

The cover arrives via a studio-set video, and you can hear the pair capture some magic below.

As previously reported, The Hanukkah Sessions will find the pair releasing eight cover songs over the next eight nights in honour of the Jewish holiday.

"This year, instead of doing a Christmas song, this year, Greg and I decided to celebrate Hanukkah," Grohl said previously. "By recording eight songs by eight famous Jewish artists and releasing one song each night of Hanukkah."

Foo Fighters' new album Medicine at Midnight arrives on February 5 through Roswell Records/RCA.
