Danny Brown Denied Entry into Canada, Cancels Appearances

Detroit rap phenom Danny Brown had a decent batch of Canadian dates booked alongside New York foodie Action Bronson, but he's been forced to cancel the trip after being denied at the border.

Brown, who's had to miss numerous Canadian dates in the past due to legal issues from his past, was meant to play the first stop of the tour in Calgary tonight (September 10). Last night, he tweeted, "Headed to Calgary Canada .. fingers crossed .. Pray 4 the bruh bruh y'all."

Three hours later, however, the news was not good, as Brown wrote, "Sorry Canada .. I tried.... That's so fucked up ... Did all this paperwork .. Paid all this money and still got denied .. I'm so sorry."

Worst of all, he said he's given up on trying to perform in our country. "I know I'm not trying again .. It's a wrap on Canada bruh bruh.... My past continues to haunt me."

For now, it looks like Action Bronson will complete the Canadian dates of the tour himself. Earlier today, he tweeted, "I'm off. 2 High 2 Die tour. Calgary. Peace."

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

UPDATE: While Danny Brown will miss all the Canadian tour dates in Alberta and BC, he will try to rejoin Action Bronson for shows in Ontario and Quebec, according to a report by Pitchfork.
