'Random Access Memories: The Collaborators' Episode 4 with Pharrell Williams

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 15, 2013

Daft Punk are four episodes deep into their Random Access Memories: The Collaborators video series, and this latest one finds producer/N.E.R.D. member Pharrell Williams discussing his time spent with the helmeted duo.

Williams lets viewers know that he first heard rumblings about the upcoming Random Access Memories at a dinner party, where he let the French pair know he was up for lending a hand, if needed. "If you want me to play a tambourine, I'll do it," he said.

He goes on to detail a track that utilizes the human heartbeat, which he finds interesting since Daft Punk are "robots." You also get a sample of a new disco-flecked track "Get Lucky" that features some smooth singing from Williams himself.

Random Access Memories will come out on May 21 via Columbia Records imprint Daft Life Limited.
