While D-Sisive delivered insightful, personal rhymes on his recent The Great Mr. Nobody, the Canadian MC has opted to get goofy with his next release. It's a holiday package named Pass the Nog! D-Sisive Croons the Ol' Christmas Classics at the Yuletide Jamboree [Digitally Remastered in Dolby Surround Sound], and if that title didn't tip you off, D-Sisive is taking the piss out of the season.
D chuckles his way through a series of Christmas favourites, delivering bum notes and bad timing on "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," adding F-bombs to "Here Comes Santa Claus," and showing off half-assed vocal runs on a humdrum "White Christmas." Canned applause, a perfectly functional background choir, basic Casio sounds and Chantal Kreviazuk are also threaded into the jokey project.
