Cut Off Your Hands Returning For More Canadian Dates

As indie rock types Cut Off Your Hands prepare to make their way around North America, the New Zealand outfit have added a fresh string of Canadian dates to their spring/summer tour. Beginning June 22 in Vancouver, the raucous Kiwis will kick off a five-night run in the Great White North, bringing the pop rock to Edmonton, Calgary, Regina and Winnipeg.

The dates follow Cut Off Your Hands' recent North American release of their debut full-length, You & I and a conversation with Exclaim!, where the band talked about their upcoming touring activities and specifically, encores.

When asked how the group feel about the show-ending tradition, front-man Nick Johnston told us: "Well, I don't know, we don't really do it that much. We've done them in New Zealand and Australia, where it would have been rude not to, but we generally think it's a bit crass to plan ahead and walk off and turn off the lights and keep the music off and come back on."

Here are Cut Off Your Hands' likely encore-less Canadian dates:

6/22 Vancouver, BC - Media Club
6/24 Edmonton, AB - Pawn Shop
6/25 Calgary, AB - Verns
6/26 Regina, SK - The Exchange
6/27 Winnipeg, MB - Royal Albert Arms Hotel
