Cuff the Duke Treat Self-Titled LP to Vinyl Reissue, Premiere "Take My Money and Run" Video

Ontario alt-country outfit Cuff the Duke released their self-titled album back in 2005, and as the record moves into its teenage years, the band are treating it to a re-release.

Cuff the Duke is getting pressed on vinyl for the first time ever, and it will arrive on limited-edition clear wax on August 24.

"I have fond memories of all the years I spent playing in Cuff the Duke, but in working on the vinyl release of our self-titled album, it really brought me back to how fun those years were," frontman Wayne Petti tells Exclaim! "Everything was new, everything was a first: the first time we sold out a show in advance, the first time we played in a hockey arena, the first time we were on TV, and the first time we made a real music video."

That first "real" video accompanied "Take My Money and Run," which — in a pre-YouTube era — was only ever released on the enhanced CD version of the album.

Thanks to the technological advancements of the last decade, though, Exclaim! is giving you an exclusive first look at the digital version of that video.

The clip was captured on a June day at an old loading dock, and takes a snapshot of the band's lineup at the time: Petti, Matt Faris, Paul Lowman and Jeff Peers.

"The video is simple and to the point, which when I think back on it, was exactly the kind of band we were at the time," Petti says.

At long last, watch the video clip for "Take My Money and Run" below.
