With one stellar EP now firmly in the bag, Long Beach freak punks Crystal Antlers are ready to enter the realms of the full-length. On April 6, the band's new label home, of Touch and Go, will drop Tentacles, Crystal Antlers' first proper album of spazzed-out sonic mayhem.
With original guitarist Errol Davis back on board, the group put their debut to tape at San Francisco's Closer Studios in one sleepless, amphetamine-fuelled week. The goal? To "touch on the fragility of nature and its destruction by humankind, all under a cloudburst of epic sound and energy," or at least that's how the press release puts it.
Along with this much-anticipated follow-up to the group's self-titled EP, Crystal Antlers are also heading out on the road for quite the massive tour, which takes them all over Europe but to only one Canadian city, Vancouver on April 21.
