A few years back, Toronto musician Corin Raymond made headlines for the ambitious undertaking of funding his 2013 album Paper Nickels solely using Canadian Tire money. For the follow-up, he returned to using regular old Canadian currency, and it's finally ready to be revealed. Titled Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams, the new record will arrive on March 3.
The 10-song set was recorded with guitarist and producer David Gillis, and features guest appearances from Jason Nowicki of the Perpetrators and Sarah Harmer. You can see the full list of song titles down below, while the colourful illustrated artwork is pictured above.
Speaking in a press release about his relationship with the songs, Raymond said, "I liken songs to dandelion seeds and things that are borne on the wind or that cling to the cuffs of your jeans."
"Good songs are like burrs," he continued. "They will attach themselves to you."
In support of the new tunes, Raymond will be embarking on a Canadian tour this spring alongside Jonathan Byrd. You'll find the full list of upcoming shows beyond the tracklisting for the new record.
