Coleman Hell Unveils New EP, Plots Debut Album for 2016 Release

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 14, 2015

Thunder Bay-bred pop singer Coleman Hell has had a massive year, due in large part to having his "2 Heads" single streamed millions of times through Spotify and YouTube. Now, he's collecting that hit and a few other tracks for a new, self-titled EP release via 604 Records/Columbia.

Six of Coleman Hell's banjo-employing, EDM-dabbling tracks will be issued together on October 30. In addition to "2 Heads," this includes previously issued singles "Thumbalina" and "Take Me Up." The remaining tracks are "Sitcom," "After Hours" and "Move On."

While Hell handles the vocal duties, he produced the beats alongside his sideways collective partners La+ch, Michah and Shan Vincent de Paul. The mini-release is said to bring together everything "from house and hip hop, to nu-disco and folk-electronica."

It's added that the Coleman Hell EP acts as a teaser to a forthcoming, as-yet-undetailed debut album, which is due sometime in 2016.

Coleman Hell is currently out on the road on a previously announced batch of North American tour dates that include stops with Robert DeLong. A few additional dates have been added since the earlier reveal, and you can find the updated tour routing down below.
