If you've been wanting a bit more Coldplay in your life and found the band's recent silence a bit tough to take, you're in luck. Come Friday (June 3), the Brits will unveil a new single.
The track is called "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" (seriously, how Coldplay of a title is that?), and here's a message from the band's Will Champion about the song:
Dear friends
We're about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it's as good a time as any to put out a new song.
"Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" will be available digitally on Friday 3rd June at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it'll come out on the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.
We'll also stream it here [on the Coldplay website] on Friday and give it a run out at Rock Im Park.

Along with that message, the song's lyrics have been posted on Coldplay's website. So you can sing along on Friday, we've posted those below.
Unfortunately, there is no official word yet on if this is simply a stand-alone single or part of Coldplay's next album, which is currently in the works.
