With writer, vocalist and keyboardist Wesley Eisold, it seems that every band he's in turns to gold. As the front-man for American Nightmare, Give up the Ghost and Some Girls, he made some of the fiercest and most interesting hardcore records of the early naughts. Now, his band Cold Cave is cranking out some seriously heady synth jams.

Following the release and subsequent selling-out of their fantastic debut, Love Comes Close, it has been announced that the band have signed with Matador Records. The label explained that they will reissue Love Comes Close, as well as releasing some TBA "additional odds and ends."

As the label explains, "Over the past 18 months, we've encountered a series of maddeningly limited vinyl and cassette releases from the fantastic Philadelphia outfit, Cold Cave... [the band] effortlessly marry elements of experimental noise, sound collage and synth pop. Last month, they released their debut longplayer and one of the most exciting debut albums we've heard."

The reissue of Love Comes Close will be out on November 3.
