Click Hear Serves Up Fresh Tracks From Elliott Smith, Memoryhouse, Parlovr and More

With Canadian Music Week starting on Wednesday (March 10), we can hardly wait the couple days until Toronto's swarmed by our nation's biggest smalltime acts. Help tide yourself over until then by checking out the Exclaim! Click Hear section for a free dose of some quality tunes.

Reminisce with the self-titled debut from Dine Alone's Parlovr. The pop rocking "Archy & Mehitabel," "On the Phone" and "Pen to the Paper" are all up for grabs, and all off the album, which gets re-released March 23. The late, great Elliott Smith also does a callback. His heartbroken croonings on "Last Call" (Roman Candle), and "Twilight" (From a Basement on a Hill) are just a couple of the tracks being reissued by Kill Rock Stars on April 6.

The childlike, upbeat style of title track "By Morning" guarantees that the rest of Ghostkeeper's sophomore effort (out March 9) will be as infectious as the last. Out the same day, Daughters' self-titled release is one to crank up, with amped-up tracks like "The Theatre Goer."

For some dreamy electro take a peek at the Memoryhouse duo. The light pop synth of "To the Lighthouse" remix flows through the entirety of the new Years EP.

Vancouver indie rockers Modern Lakes also put out a sandal-footed video to accompany the soft jangling melancholy of their track "Down." But to really gear up for CMW, here's a mixtape of all the excitement-filled Audio Blood artists blanketing Toronto bars later this week, including Dinosaur Bones, the Darcys, Clothes Make the Man and several others.

Keep on heading over to our Click Hear section for these tracks and more from all across the interweb.
