City and Colour Eyes Summer Release for New LP, Premieres New Track

While details are still slim, Dallas Green has revealed his tender City and Colour project will release a new LP this summer. The news initially came over the weekend with the launch of an album trailer, but Dine Alone upped the ante earlier today (March 11) by premiering Green's new single, the purposely lower-cased "of space and time."

The song, which you can stream below, is a gentle strummer with a laid-back backbeat, though the tune does feature passages of fuzz bass. Lyrically the track has Green exploring altered states, tracing the stars and ultimately trying to find his way back home.

Also below is the aforementioned album trailer, which features some footage of the dude soulfully laying the track down in the studio, and pensively listening back to the results behind the mixing board.

The as-yet-untitled LP will follow Green's 2011 City and Colour set Little Hell.

As previously reported, City and Colour will headline a show at Niagara-on-the-Lake's Butler's Barracks on June 29 with Metric, Jimmy Eat World, Serena Ryder and Yukon Blonde also set to perform. By then, City and Colour fans may just have a new album to dig into.
