Erudite piano man Chilly Gonzales (a.k.a. Jason Beck) is taking a break from his Pop Music Masterclass teachings to score an upcoming film called An Ordinary Man. Keeping things in the family, it's been revealed that he'll be doing so with brother and fellow composer Christophe Beck.News of the film score partnership arrived through Christophe's Twitter account today (June 2), where he confirmed that he and Chilly are currently working on their first film collaboration in Paris. As you can see in the video below, Chilly is using his piano to score a scene featuring film star Ben Kingsley entering a room.

A release date has not yet been affixed to the picture, though it's apparently already in post-production. The movie was written and directed by Brad Silberling (Casper, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Land of the Lost). It stars Kingsley, Peter Serafinowicz and Hera Hilmar, and focuses on the relationship between an in-hiding war criminal and his maid.
While Gonzales has made a name for himself over the years by working with artists like Feist and Peaches, Christophe Beck's credits include score work on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, Ant-Man, Frozen, Hot Tub Time Machine, the Pink Panther reboot and the upcoming Trolls feature.
